Since 1998 Equisto supports employers,
company physicians and insurers. Our human resource interventions cover the
whole range of employee aspects. Company cultural change,
mobility, absenteeism, anxiety,
lack of involvement, poor performance, management, 'islands',
individual and collective conflicts, communication, collaboration,
adhd, autism, dyslexia and giftedness.
Operating from
coherence
Equisto operates from the vision that an organisation is (like an
organism) a system of interrelated and interdependent parts, which
together form a whole. So an employee is not only an individual person
but also part of a 'department' and of the organization and also
operates in a particular industry.
Equisto tackles your problems in the organizational and individual
level not isolated - the so-called 'firefighting' - but from a
predetermined integral approach. With Equisto
your interventions
are more profitable and you're not running behind the facts.
Products
At the organizational level we can make - and operate from a strategic
plan. With this plan in mind we work on the individual cases and
therefore our clients make a double profit: improvement of individual
output and wellbeing, as well as enhancement of organizational
performance.
Our
workshops aim on managers to optimize their mix of coach-and-control.
For employees we offer a mental health training and advice.
Examples
Situations that occur and 'files' that grow around individual
employees, we can deal with from the integral vision. A conflict with
an entire department relates to individuals, management style and
organizational culture. Resistances when employees have to move on to
an other job (fysical and mental mobility) are not only related to the
loss of their job, but also to latent problems in the personality and
to the leadership style of the manager involved. In a non-profit
organisation relationship between the board and its staff, and the
managers of departments influence the realisation of ambitions and how
individual problems are taken care of. An entrepreneur who is ill, has
next to his ailment, a problem in his company and will have to achieve
an attitude change.
Method
Once the evident signals are clear (like
communicational problems, burnout, conflicts and disfunctioning), we
dig up the deeper, multi-dimensional causes. Our
approach is integral and multi-disciplinary. Integral: a person is born
with a set of genes, or talents and limitations. Together with his or
her personal history (environment, education, culture) a personality
grows. The performance and behavior of an employee is determined by
this personality in combination with the environment of a specific
organisation, culture, manager and colleagues.
This requires a
multi-disciplinary team, in which the experienced coach leads the
process from a generalistic point of view, and manages the input of
specialists. The coach has his focus on the complexity of the whole
person in a concrete situation, and constantly bears in mind the aims
of the coaching process.
European projects
On the European level we create and participate
in projects aiming at the
employer and his employees. Some of the subjects are:
1) Coaching approaches, practices and theories; 2) ADHD, Dyslexia,
Autism and Giftedness; 3)
Exploring talents, taking limitations (handicaps) into consideration.
At
the moment we are looking for employers to participate in our next
European project, which is aiming on employers who want to invest in
discovering the useful talents of "employees with special brains"
(giftedness, autism, adhd, dyslexia). See page European
